Hello there! I am Kritika Malhotra, an Environmental Studies educator & enthusiastic Soil and Water researcher. Welcome to my corner of exploration!

I am an environmental scientist with a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Biosystems Engineering (minor in Statistics) from Auburn University. I served as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Environmental Studies Program at the University of Southern California (USC), where I taught undergraduate courses in Environmental Studies.

My research focuses on environmental sciences, including non-point source pollution (nutrient, contaminants, sediment) management, hydrology, water quality, soil physics, vadose zone modeling, and agricultural water management. I use a combination of field and watershed-based data collection, laboratory, and modeling approaches to address a range of environmental and agricultural sustainability issues.

As a curious individual, I am always eager and excited to learn more about the environment around us. I am committed to creating innovative solutions for environmental issues and making meaningful contributions to the scientific community. I believe in the power of collaboration across disciplines and cooperative extension. Please explore the different tabs to find out about my research, teaching/mentoring, grants/awards, and publications.

Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you'll join me in exploring the wonders of science!
